Mark Zuckerberg renamed Facebook to META. 

It's a Greek term meaning of "Beyond"

The word is short for Metaverse. 

Metaverse - Universe Beyond. 

The Symbol represents INFINITY, in a simple fluid blue gradient. It's also portraits an M shape that reconducts to the META word. 

The Symbol could also be an image of the glasses shaped device we could use to enter the virtual world.
